SeeScore is a music score display app intended for musicians to practice or perform instrumental or vocal music from the iPad instead of using conventional paper scores. Unlike existing score display apps using fixed layout formats such as pdf, SeeScore uses the power of MusicXML to allow interactive flexible layout, and get the best use of the limited screen size. You can choose any parts to view from multi-part music and change the size of the music to suit your distance from the iPad.
SeeScore handles scrolling automatically, and will play a piano accompaniment or a metronome tick. Any tempi and time signatures defined in the score are read while playing and the metronome and auto-scroll automatically follow. Transposition is also supported.
You supply your own scores in MusicXML format which can be found on many web sites, or can be output direct from score-writing packages.
